Becoming a node validator in the NetLink Protocol is a straightforward process that allows users to contribute to the network and earn rewards. Follow these detailed steps to purchase a node and start earning with NetLink Protocol:
Step 1: Visit the Purchase Page
Open your web browser and go to the NetLink Protocol purchase page: NetLink Protocol Dashboard.
Step 2: Choose Node Quantity and Blockchain
On the purchase page, select the quantity of nodes you wish to buy.
Choose the blockchain network from the available options: Arbitrum or Base.
Step 3: Confirm and Complete the Purchase
After selecting the quantity and blockchain, click on the Confirm button.
Sign in to your cryptocurrency wallet when prompted.
Pay the necessary gas fee to complete the transaction.
Step 4: Receive Guidelines and Setup Your Node
Upon successful purchase, you will receive a guideline to help you set up and run your node.
Download the Command Line Interface (CLI) that corresponds to your operating system:
For Linux users: Download the Linux version of the CLI.
For Windows users: Download the Windows version of the CLI.
After downloading the appropriate CLI, disable real-time protection on your system temporarily to avoid interference.
Open the downloaded program and follow the instructions provided in the guideline document to start earning with your node.
Step 5: Contribute Bandwidth
Once your node is set up and connected to the NetLink Protocol network, you can begin contributing your excess internet bandwidth. The platform offers tools to help you monitor the amount of bandwidth you're providing. As a validator, you will earn $NLP tokens based on your bandwidth contributions to the NetLink Protocol network. The reward mechanism is designed to fairly compensate users for their efforts.
The amount of $NLP tokens you earn is directly proportional to the volume of bandwidth you share and the duration of your contribution. This means that the more bandwidth you provide and the longer you stay active, the more tokens you will accumulate. This proportional reward system encourages validators to contribute substantial and consistent bandwidth to the network.
Additionally, the NetLink Protocol offers a referral program to boost your earnings. By inviting new users to purchase nodes and become validators, you and the new validator can each earn up to 20% in referral bonuses.
