How to delegate node
The Delegate Node feature in NetLink Protocol is designed to provide flexibility and convenience for users who wish to participate in the network without the need to actively manage their nodes. By delegating their nodes, users can enjoy the benefits of bandwidth sharing while allowing experienced validators to handle the technical aspects. In return, the revenue generated from the delegated nodes is shared, with 85% going to the node owner and 15% to the validator.
How to Delegate Your Node
Step 1: Buy a Node
Step 2: Back to Dashboard and Click Delegate
After purchasing your node, navigate back to your dashboard.
Click on the "Delegate" button next to the next step
Step 3: Verify Ownership and Switch to Delegation Mode
Click "Delegate" to verify your ownership of the node.
This step ensures that only the rightful owner can delegate the node.
Step 4: Node Running
Once the ownership of your node is verified, it will automatically switch to Delegation mode. This process assigns your node to a validator, who will take over its management and operation. The validator is responsible for ensuring that the node runs efficiently and effectively contributes its bandwidth to the network. This setup allows you to benefit from the expertise of the validator, who will handle all technical aspects, ensuring optimal performance and consistent participation in the NetLink Protocol.
Revenue Sharing
When you delegate your node to a validator, the revenue generated from bandwidth sharing is distributed as follows:
85% of the token incentive ($NLP) goes to you, the node owner.
15% is retained by the validator for managing and operating the node.
This delegation system ensures that even users who do not wish to manage their nodes can still participate and earn rewards from the NetLink Protocol. By allowing experienced validators to handle the technical operations, the network maintains high performance and reliability, benefiting all participants.
